We, the members of Oromiyaa People’s Liberation Front (OPLF) and Oromiyaa Liberation Council (OLC) hereby merge and form Gumii Adda Bilisummaa Ummata Oromiyaa hereafter known as GABUO/ COPLF.

Objective: 

The objective of the GUMII ADDA BILISUMMAA UMMATA OROMIYAA is to organize and guide the struggle of the Oromo people to establish an independent and democratic Republic of Oromiyaa.
The GUMII ADDA BILISUMMAA UMMATA OROMIYAA is determined to end the ongoing Ethiopian colonial rule and reinstate the sovereignty of Oromiyaa that is governed under the principles of federalism, where all its citizens’ collective and individual rights are protected by law.
• To add dynamism and momentum to the Oromiyaa liberation struggle, the GUMII ADDA BILISUMMAA UMMATA OROMIYAA believes that it is essential to cooperate and work with other liberation forces as long as the interest of the people of Oromiyaa and GUMII ADDA BILISUMMAA UMMATA OROMIYAA´s objective and program are not compromised.  ( For more details please refer to the political program of GABUO.)
